Marijuana Education

With the recent legalization of medicinal marijuana here in Maine comes the increasing importance of education related to marijuana. Power of Prevention is working with communities to educate them about the harms and consequences of marijuana use, and to encourage municipal leaders to consider adopting ordinances, policies, and/or resolutions to provide local direction about availability and access to marijuana.

Part of our efforts include providing evidence-based educational materials about the effects of marijuana to interested individuals, organizations, businesses, schools, and community groups.
