The Power or Prevention is one of many Healthy Maine Partnerships throughout Maine that oversees local coalition work for their service area. We cover northern Aroostook County from Caribou north to the Saint John Valley. The staff and our coalition members work collaboratively to provide healthier opportunities to our community members. Our initiatives vary from coalition building to chronic disease prevention to policy development. We are driven by the energy in our communities and guided by the Maine Office of Center for Disease Control.
